The Charles "Chuck" Walker Big Fish Award

 After many years of service to the members of the Maryland Bass Federation (MBF) where he served as Secretary and then Treasurer for 5 years, and as a Founding Member and President for 4 years of the Nations Capitol Bass Federation (NCBF), in 2019, our members voted to rename our Big Fish Award in his honor. The Charles "Chuck" Walker Big Fish Award is awarded to both Boater and Co-angler at the completion of each tournament.

Chuck has been a Federation member since 1980. He was a member of Hard Times II and is currently a member of Bicentennial Bass Club and High Noon Club. 

In 1990, Chuck represented the NCBF at the National President's meeting in Alabama with instructions to request NCBF be given full Federation status in B.A.S.S. At first his requests were turned down but with his persistance and determination he wqs able to complete the goal and a full Federation status was approved.

In 2009, Chuck once again represented the NCBF at the President's meeting and as a result of that meeting, the NCBF, along with many other Federations, left B.A.S.S. and joined The Bass Federation. 

Chuck is still active with the NCBF and is constantly called upon for his input and assistance with all aspects of our Federation.
